Recruiter Awards 2016 Finalists – Recruitment Leader & Agency of the Year

We’re very proud to announce that Seven have been shortlisted in 2 prestigious categories at the Recruiter Awards 2016 – the benchmark within the recruitment industry.

Owner and Managing Director, Richard Cooke, is a finalist for ‘Agency Recruitment Leader of the Year’ and Seven is on the shortlist for ‘Recruitment Agency of the Year (up to 75 employees)’.

The finalists in each category were revealed live on Twitter yesterday, in what was a very exciting and suspenseful lunchtime here in the office.

To be considered for the Recruitment Leader award, the entrant “will have made the most significant influence on the profession, their recruitment business, the industry and demonstrated exemplary leadership.”

Finalists for Agency of the Year have achieved “the most stand-out business accomplishment or series of accomplishments of the year, financial stability and profitability, and enhancement of the recruitment industry’s reputation in the UK business world.”

Now in its 15th year, the awards seek to identify the UK’s top recruitment professionals, whose hard work, quality of service, innovation and commitment have pushed the boundaries of excellence within the industry.

The Recruiter Awards, held annually at Grosvenor House Hotel, is the UK’s largest event for the whole recruitment community recognising best practice from agencies, in-house teams and also use of marketing & technology to successfully achieve objectives.

Entries will be judged by a panel of illustrious judges selected by Recruiter editor, DeeDee Doke, with the aim of “recognising organisations who add outstanding value to their business partnerships and relationships.”

Richard had this to say about making the shortlist, “Obviously it’s wonderful to have our hard work recognised by the biggest event on the recruitment calendar, but for us the true measure of success is how well we meet the needs of our clients and candidates.

“To gain true success in recruitment, you need to be the most credible, innovative, relatable, approachable, reputable and dedicated agency in the sectors you specialise in. Every decision we make here at Seven has the client and candidate’s best interests in mind, so it’s great to have our customer-focus and commitment acknowledged by the industry. Roll on awards night!”

Every year Recruiter invites people to vote for their ‘Charity of the Year’. The chosen charity will receive the proceeds from various fundraising activities held during the Awards Night gala. The shortlisted charities this year are Arrows Group Foundation, Fife Employment Access Trust and Smart Works. Please cast your vote here.

Congratulations to all the other finalists and best of luck on awards night – we’re looking forward to meeting you at the drinks reception. May the 4th be with you!
