About the position:

The Clinic is sitting along the Kalamazoo River in downtown Allegan, Michigan. The clinic is housed in a “repurposed” electrical generator building dating back to the 1800s.  In 1983, they first opened the doors with an “everyone is welcome” approach.  They were a walk in clinic then and they still are to this day.  The clinic sees a variety of cases so if you are looking for an exciting place to practice medicine this may be the place for you! They welcome small animal or mixed animal experience.

Walk-in for all their pet services with four doctors to take care of their every need including vaccinations, regular visits open 6 days a week.  They offer appointments for surgeries, orthopedic work, and farm call visits.

NO after-hours emergencies

Digital Radiographs

They offer in-house diagnostic blood chemistries, heartworm test, fecal test, brucellosis test, target ovulating test, and EKG all to assist the doctor with prompt diagnosis including ultrasound.

They offer dental work, full pharmacy, hospitalization, health check and certificates for travel, C-section and availability of cremation service.

They treat large and small animals including camilid, caprine, swine, equine, bovine, and small pocket pets such as hamsters, besides the special dog and cat.

They offer nutritional counseling, parasite control, bereavement counseling, and diabetes management.
