We are recruiting for an Emergency Veterinarian for a private emergency clinic based in Lake Charles.

The Emergency Clinic is an after-hours clinic that practices at a high level. Formal staff training system yields very able staff so a doctor, need just be a doctor. Excellent rapport with local referring day clinics. New doctor would have the ability to work relief shifts at local referring clinics if desired.

Equipment includes flat panel digital DR radiography, GE Ultrasound, Full Abaxis blood testing suite, iStat for blood gases, large number of fluid pumps, large investment in patient warming, Sevo only gas anesthesia, excellent monitoring capability, 4 available oxygen cages, emergency electrical generator, oxygen concentrators, so self-sufficient under most conditions.

For the doctor who has never been an ER doctor, They will mentor you and teach you to be a great one. Working ER increases a doctor’s skill level and confidence dramatically. The other nice part is that, when you are off shift, you are OFF.

The Clinic is looking to offer great compensation, with a basic ranging from $90,000 to $140,000.
