  • Develop tailored treatment plans for each patient, including medication management, dietary recommendations, and follow-up care.
  • Perform routine surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, dental cleanings, and soft tissue surgeries, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to discuss diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care strategies in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, behavior, and preventive care through individual consultations and educational materials.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education, training seminars, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and members of the community to promote the clinic’s reputation and mission.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in small animal practice preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to evidence-based medicine and best practices.
  • Proficiency in surgical techniques and anesthesia protocols, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
